Costumes

Drawn to the poetry of fabric and form, my work in costume design is an ongoing exploration of how clothing shapes cinematic storytelling. My passion lies in the dramaturgy of texture, movement, and time—where garments become vessels of emotion and meaning.

For Asterión (2021), a silent experimental short by Francesco Montagner, I wove together Prague-sourced pieces with hand-patinated fabrics and raw elements from Extremadura’s landscape. The film premiered at Locarno ’21 and now streams on DAFilms.

In Berlin, my collaboration with Carlos Pereira on Icebergs (Locarno ’24, Lights On Film) pushed my aesthetic toward a stripped-down, intimate minimalism. As we prepare his next feature, our creative dialogue deepens, refining the language of costume dramaturgy.

Earlier, I contributed to Chevalier (Searchlight Pictures), absorbing the sensual precision of historical costume continuity, and worked on Yunan (Berlinale ’25), navigating the delicate balance between beauty and resilience under extreme conditions.

Most recently, on The Squirrel (Bufo Films, Pallas Films), I curated an intricate world of sci-fi costuming, blending the organic and the otherworldly. Each project reveals new ways for garments to transcend fabric, becoming whispers of character, time, and unspoken desire.
