Claudia Cazzorla is a costume designer known for her work in production and costume design on the award-winning silent experimental film Asterión (2022), her collaboration on the Searchlight Pictures feature film Chevalier (2022), and her costume design for the arthouse films Icebergs (2024) and her collaboration on the arthouse feature Yunan (2025), and The Squirrell (2025).
She earned her BA in costume and production design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, followed by further studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan. In Italy, she explored theatrical studies before expanding her film journey and creative perspective at the Academy of Performing Arts DAMU-FAMU in Prague. Later, in Berlin, she continued her cinematic path, contributing to arthouse cinema productions whilst curating her own eclectic fashion archive now available for rent and sale.
Her innovative approach to representing reality captures the nuanced interplay of costume and production design, creatively interpreting them as a dramaturgical reflection of the inner depths of film characters and spaces. A key highlight of her professional career is leading seminars on experimental approaches to costume and production design. She actively teaches at PFS, a private film school in Prague, and has also been a guest lecturer at Locarno’s CISA film school.
